About Mission 61
A core value of Mission 61 is excellence.
As we purchase homes, we keep the people who will live in the spaces in the forefront of our minds.
Upon moving in, we strive for our clients to experience a clean, updated and peaceful atmosphere in every home and every room.
We want to thank the volunteers and those who have donated furniture and goods.
We want to thank those who have devoted countless hours and skills to clean, update, reconstruct and turn the houses into homes.
You are creating change and making a difference in so many lives.
Mary Peltz is the CEO and Executive Director of Mission 61 and has worked with the homeless for many years.
In July of 2017, Mary and her team established a 501c3 and purchased two homes with the vision of more homes in the area- as the need is great.
Mary is a Drug Rehabilitation Specialist, Natural Health Consultant and Counselor. She is also the Administrator of CORE Programs. Mary utilizes these areas of training to aid people into homes and established outreaches within the community.
As a Master Life Coach under AACC, and Life Skills teacher at four different work force locations, Mary helps mentor clients in the job force and also facilitates Anger Resolution and ministers in the jail systems.
Mary is a speaker at Empower recovery, Pine City, Teen Challenge in Brainerd and St. Paul. She also teaches at Hope Dealers Recovery Group and Recovering Hope in Mora.
Both Mary and her husband pastor two churches in the Princeton/Cambridge area.
Mary's heart is set on providing an 'In-Between' place . Many people come out of jail, off the street, out of recovery facilities and have no where to go to that is safe and that will help get them on their feet.
These home are to provide the In-between or the next step to empower those that are in crisis
